TCM Immunology November 18 – 21, 2016 Daiyi Tang MD (China), MS, Ph.D.

Dr. Daiyi Tang graduated Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine with his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in China.  He was also awarded a Ph.D. degree in 1998 in the field of integrated Chinese medicine and Western medicine from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, a well-known Western hospital in China.   He also received post-doctoral training in the Department of Physiological Sciences of the Eastern Virginia Medical School specializing renal and cardiovascular diseases, including diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Tang has many years of teaching experience in TCM programs throughout the United States, including TCM colleges located in New Mexico, New York, Minnesota and in Florida.  He currently operates private practices in the Miami area and serves as an instructor at both ATOM and the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami.  Dr. Wang is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture (an international peer-reviewed TCM journal published in the English language) and has published many research papers in his field.  He specializes in treating chronic diseases of the  immune system with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
